		<description>&lt;p&gt;@Jen I think this probably deserves it&#039;s own post, so I&#039;ll have to write that soon, but just to answer the question simply, I&#039;m not planning on it right now for a couple reasons.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1) I feel great right now. There&#039;s pretty much nothing that I am held back from doing despite the bag.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2) It&#039;s sketchy whether it would work. My doctor said about 80% of the j-pouches were successful, but my rectum is still so inflamed I&#039;m not sure it&#039;s the right time to do it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3) Economics. It simply works better for me right now to keep working and not take the time off and incur the expense of another surgery.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;But I reserve the right to totally change my mind at some point. That was the nice thing about passing the test. If I had had some kind of cancerous &quot;something&quot; then we would have probably had to take out the rest of my rectum and it would have been my last chance to get a j-pouch. As it stands, I can elect to have one whenever I want to.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
